If you ask Tristan what makes him tick, he’ll tell you it’s the sourcing of a new tract of land and fostering the lasting relationships that come with it. Tristan grew up with mud on his boots and a clear-eyed sense of how real estate shapes communities and creates lasting value. In his mind, no stock ticker on Wall Street can hold a candle to the stability of a well-chosen parcel of land. It’s a lesson he’s carried forward into his career, from his early days building homes around Charlotte to his “trial by fire” path in the land arena.
At Clemson University, he immersed himself in finance and accounting—and, when he wasn’t buried in textbooks, he was putting in sweat equity on the football field. In fact, Tristan can say something not many people can: he helped the Tigers claim a National Championship. He also played lacrosse, just for good measure. Tristan brings a champion’s work ethic and team spirit into every negotiation and development project he tackles today.
These days, Tristan’s favorite spots are less about stadium turf and more about open fields ready for new beginnings—or the wide-open slopes of a mountain. He’s an adrenaline enthusiast who’d rather be on a snowboard, a dirt bike, or waist-deep in a fishing stream than stuck behind a desk. On the home front, he’s raising two labs—Diesel and Cedar, who keep him active and humble when he’s not knocking out DIY projects around the house.
At his core, Tristan is guided by faith and family, crediting God as his foundation and his loved ones as his source of daily inspiration. He’ll tell you the best use of his time is well spent with friends and family—just don’t be surprised if he sneaks in a little talk about real estate development here and there. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to roll up his sleeves, Tristan Walliser is the kind of land development pro who doesn’t just promise growth—he builds it, lives it, and loves every minute of it.
